3 Statements For Aaron Rodgers Critics: CLICK To Chime In

Wow! Apparently Dennis Dodd and Lance Briggs think they get to choose who Aaron Rodgers roots for in the NCAA tournament. Well, I disagree. And I have a few things to say about Aaron’s attendance at recent Badgers games. I love  that Aaron has supported and even made friends with young Badger players who reside in Aaron Rodgers’s state of residence. Here are some Twitter snapshots that illustrate just how presumptuous some people can be.

After the Arizona game, Aaron Rodgers was allowed to go and congratulate the Wisconsin Badgers as they cut the nets while the press was held back. Dennis Dodd, in particular, took issue:

Why should Aaron Rodgers be doing interviews in this setting? Dodd is obviously just upset at being left out…boo hoo! And he then resorts to threats…

Badger1

Wow…thank you for your guarantee Dodd…obiously you are the Prime Mover of the NCAA and USBWAA…a juggernaught, plain and simple. Oh, wait…here is what Aaron Rodgers had to say:

Badger2

Badger3

Badger4

Oh yeah…and Lance Briggs had to chime in too. It is always good to get the opinion of someone who isn’t even going to be invited back to his NFC North basement team to comment on the NFL MVP:

Badger5

Well, I am going to make this simple. I have three things to say about this issue (it shouldn’t be an issue but these people are trying to make it one).

1. Aaron Rodgers can back whatever team he wants. This is AMERICA and Aaron is a resident of Wisconsin and is backing his friends and the Badgers. I know that not every Packers fan is a Wisconsin Badgers fan…but that is fine too. We all back our college teams and I think that is great. But Wisconsin residents and Badger fans cannot help but be excited that Aaron has stood up for his friends on the Wisconsin team. That is not wrong either…any more than it is wrong that Aaron is rooting for the Badgers.

2. Dennis Dodd: When you are a Super Bowl champ, you can complain about somebody upstaging you and getting access to the team before you do. Until then…shut up!

3. Lance Briggs: Comment when you are again relevant, which is…NEVER!

ARod supports all of Wisconsin. You will see him at Bucks, Brewers, and U of GB games. More than a former Packer QB did. And let’s not forget his charitable work for kids all through the state. There is worse things going on in this world than getting snubbed for an interview. Hey Dodd….go grab Briggs and see if you can interview the leader of ISIS. Let’s see how that goes.

Packer fans may feel Aaron Rodgers is “God-Like” (I do), but he is still a person and like the rest of the people in the world, is free to root for any team he chooses and not get talked bad about for doing so. I am Wisconsin born and raised and think it’s wonderful that he was there cheering on the Amazing Badgers like the rest of us. Go Badgers Go!!!

I think what Aaron did was very respectful of him, it wasn’t about him that day, it was about the Badgers!
    GO BADGERS!
    GO PACKERS!

It seems that both reporters will do anything to get in the news. A Rogers does not need to explain to anyone who he roots for, last I checked this was still the USA.

Why would anybody think Rodgers rooting for the Badgers is wrong? WHY? Hell I am an Ohio State fan, does this mean I cannot root for the Badgers? When Badgers plays Buckeyes I root for the Buckeyes, other than that I root for Wisconsin and then Michigan State! So who has the right to tell either Aaron or me who to root for!

Dennis Dodd why would you assume that Aaron would take the spotlight away from the Badgers? It was THEIR GAME AND THEIR WIN!!IT’S ALL ABOUT BASKETBALL not football! Get over it!
Lance Briggs how petty are you that you got on Aaron’s case? I am pretty sure he knows what school he went to without YOU TELLING HIM. I mean that was really pretty pathetic of you. Grow up and stop being such a wah wah!!

And yet another reason to be stoked to have Rodgers as a Packer. His support for the people of Wi shows he gets what it means to be cheesy…

This wasn’t media day @ the super bowl. Aaron needn’t grant interviews to anyone especially a troll like Dodd. His team of choice is exactly that, HIS. Let him be Rodgers the fan rather than Rodgers #12 once in a while.

Who the hell do the press think they are Mr Rodgers was out for an evening with his girlfriend watching basketball . The fact is it doesn’t matter who what where or how Aaron was their these parasites have no reason to harass him he is not public property he has a right to a private life. I would ban these two from the next badger’s game for miss conduct

Dodds should remember why he was there on the court in the first place. To cover the Badgers. Rodgers was not taking the stage away from the biggest moment in the life of those players. Also, Briggs, I went to Missouri. Love that school and follow it loyally. I live in Wisconsin and have become a huge Badger fan. I hope I’m not tarred and feathered.

Unlike Dennis Dodd,Aaron Rodgers is a class act. As I think Aaron Rodgers refused the interview as he didn’t the spotlight to be on him rather than the Badgers as it should of been. Kudos to Mr.Rodgers.
