Everybody was more than a little surprised when Jordy had off-season surgery. He was outstanding in the 2014 campaign and showed no signs of being hampered by anything. Suddenly, we were informed that he would have hip surgery and we all started to wonder if he would be ready for the season by the time training camp arrived.
Well, training camp has arrived, Jordy participated from minute one, and I’m starting to wonder…
Could Jordy have an even more outstanding 2015 campaign than he did in 2014?
Nelson admits that his hip gave him pain last season and needed to be “cleaned out.” Like all true warriors, he played through the pain, but then he spent most of the week just trying to get the pain back to a manageable level to be ready for the next Sunday.
If that was the kind of production that an injury-bothered Nelson had in 2014, what kind of season could an injury-free Nelson have in 2015?
It’s a scary thought… for opponents.
I disagree with the idea he showed no signs, twice near the end of games last year he looked like something wasn’t right but he kept giving his all.

You’ve got a great eye Tim. I didn’t notice it. I’ll have to rewatch a couple of games and see if I can spot what you noticed.
If you’re right then the surgery should be a great boost to Jordy’s game.
Totally agree with this assessment
