With each passing day, Packers football gets closer and Packernation gets more and more excited about imgresanother chance to see the best team on the planet give the enemy Hell. We at GPN have been highlighting players that we think will be exciting this upcoming season by putting up some highlights for you to watch and get pumped.

Today, y’all gotta check out a couple of receivers that may take some time to develop but could very well be contributors depending on how many receivers the Packers decide to keep. The first one was a very exciting pick for Wisconsinites back during the draft. When Ted Thompson chose Jared Abbrederis in this year’s draft, Badgers fans went wild. We could do a LOT of talking about Abbrederis’ fit in the Packers scheme but let’s let the tape do the talking:

Another receiver who was drafted late but has a lot of potential is Jeff Janis. Ted Thompson spoke of Janis as very highly rated physically coming out of college and with the right situation could be someone Packers fans stay familiar with over the long haul. Check him out:

Agreed Jeff. The only knock on him was that he came out of a small school and the competition he faced…but we know that won’t be a problem if he is getting taught by Nelson, Cobb and Co.

There is definitely gonna be a lot of competition at the receiver spot…both these guys started making statements late in OTA’s…can’t wait to see it heat up in training camp!

Last season I was so captivated by Abbrederis’ “magic” play, that I took to calling him “Abbraca-Deris!”
