Knew Bart Starr. Loved those years. Am so proud. West High used to be able to use the City Stadium on Friday nights for their football games – but since the kids tore up the field, Vince and the management decided it was not a good idea to let the kids use the field because the field was sacred – even then – and – so West High had to use another football venue. I had graduated by then – 1967. What happened to the 1968 Wildcats? Where did they play? Answer anyone?

I was lucky enough to play my last two football games in that stadium and score a touchdown too!!! That was 1972 and is still a thrill to think all those great players played there too. I played for Sheboygan North and beat GB Southwest 36-14 first game but lost the next Friday night!

Vince was my second cousin. So many of his words are indelibly engrained in my mind. It is such an honor to be related to this highly moral, intelligent man. He will forever be an inspiration to many.
