The exits of Brad Jones and AJ Hawk this offseason were perhaps the most significant departures (along with Tramon Williams perhaps) for the Packers hopes of getting back to the NFC Championship to right the wrongs of last season. With BJ Raji back and new blood sweating on the field today in OTA’s, Packernation should still feel good that the defense can pick up where it left off last season. But here is the question? Who will fill the bill at inside linebacker?Clay Matthews’ move to the inside seemed to be the difference-maker midway through last season but personally, I would rather have a stout ILB and let Matthews stunt to the inside if necessary to add the element of surprise. But Clay has been working hard at the inside position (partly just because it is not as natural…it’s newer) during OTA’s which signified that Clay’s gonna be doing some work on the inside this year. But if a Bradford or Ryan can step up, the Packers could have an additional playmaker on the field and keep Clay in his natural position on the outside. So who will it be?
