Packers Daily Headlines
Here is your morning cuppa Packers news from greenbaypackernation.com
Geronimo May Need Surgery:
Packers’ wide receiver Geronimo Allison’s groin injury may require surgery. Coach McCarthy called it a “pretty big injury” and said he would be consulting with a surgeon. The void will likely be filled by Marquez Valdes-Scantling who had 101 yards on just three catches Sunday Night against the Patriots has continued to come on strong and gain the trust of Aaron Rodgers.
King Likely Out For Dolphins Game:
Kevin King will likely miss more playing time and not be available for the Dolphins game. King’s hamstring injury will require rest and according to coach McCarthy he will be “challenged to play this week”.
Josh Jones Makes an Appearance:
Josh Jones was called up due to the trade of Ha Ha Clinton-Dix and other than an inexplicable penalty on a kickoff, he showed up. Jones recorded 6 tackles in the 17-31 loss to the Patriots, four of which were solo.
Aaron Rodgers Wants to Feed Davante:
It is no secret that Davante Adams is a tough cover. While he was held to just 6 catches for 40 yards Sunday night, Adams still had one touchdown and would have likely had another but for an under-thrown ball. Aaron Rodgers wants to find more ways to get Adams involved as he is such a big part of the offense’s success. Look for his catch count to go up on Sunday.
