The loss of Bridgewater, Adrian Peterson, and starting tackles Matt Kalil and Andre Smith were tough. The loss to the Bears was tough…but today, it only got tougher for the Minnesota Vikings. In a shocking announcement, the Vikings’ offensive coordinator Norv Turner is resigning.
This for a team whose arrow appears to be pointing down after being the last undefeated team of the season to go down. The Vikings could very easily find themselves in a tailspin in an NFC North that includes the Aaron Rodgers led Packers and Matthew Stafford led Lions. The loss to the Bears could have disastrous ramifications down the stretch.
Pat Shurmur has been named interim offensive coordinator.
